The Abbey just got a good mention from Time Out New York for being a great Saturday night spot for under $30 (meaning you can drink all night, get loose, and still be able to buy a late-night slice.) I went with a Pickleback, which is simply a shot of Jameson chased by a shot of
locally home-brewed pickle juice. Even if you're not into whiskey or pickles, this shot is delicious and surprisingly smooth. I did however see someone else buy one of these and almost spit it right back up (lightweight!) Not for the faint of heart, definitely for the adventurous.
