What is Bioluminescence II you might ask? This rave on a boat is the unique product of the Disorient Collective, a mostly NY based Burning man camp, who use these parties in the City as a means of raising funds for their Black Rock City endeavors. This underwater themed boat party was a sight to be seen from the start, walking up to the pier from the West Side Highway you could already see half naked people running around with glow sticks and El-wire embedded outfits, most of whom already looked spun before even boarding the three-story party boat. Much to our surprise this thing had sold out weeks earlier, and was certainly filling up with what seemed to be a somewhat diversified mixture of crazies from both Burning man and New York City.
